In line with its strategic objective of increasing its profile in Australia, SeaHold is delighted to announce its sponsorship support in this year’s Rolex Sydney to Hobart ocean race of the 39-foot Sparkman & Stephens yacht SeaHold Perie Banou II, skippered by Australian icon Jon Sanders and supported in turn by another Australian icon David Dicks, together with a high quality West Australian crew.
SeaHold is an internationally active boutique private investment group that invests in a broad spectrum of commercial activity at both a project and corporate level. The company was initially formed in Scotland in 2003 to participate as an investor in the early development of offshore renewable energy, but for operational reasons subsequently made a transition to offshore oil and gas related investment where its principals already had considerable experience. The group is now headquartered in Dublin with offices in Aberdeen, and representation in the US, Norway, and Asia-Pacific, and with a Perth WA office in planning for 2009.
Since 2005 SeaHold’s operations have been re-focused to encompass direct investment in a diverse mix of investment opportunities including: marine leisure and related infrastructure support; residential and commercial property development; hospitality; international equities; specialty food wholesale and retail; field sports; and retaining some exposure to offshore oil and gas related investment.
SeaHold retains a small multi-national team of highly motivated and skilled staff who, together with its strategic partners, have gained significant experience of its target investment sectors. The group currently projects its investment capability into several world markets, although its normal operations currently come under the control of its Dublin office and its Dublin based Director Janelle Manton.
All at SeaHold wish Jon Sanders, David Dicks, and the entire crew of SeaHold Perie Banou II the very best of success.
